Double Pane Insulated Glass
Fogged or broken insulated Glass? Look no further. Rock Hill Glass specializes in home window repair and insulated window glass replacement. No construction mess. No need to paint. No need to varnish. No need to replace frames or sashes, just the glass. Ask about "low E" energy efficient glass. Dual pane windows may have grids or muntins that make the window look like it has many small separate panes of glass. Please mention if your window has grids and the grid pattern (how many small “windows” going across, and then how many going down).
Single Pane Glazing
If you have a single-pane window that is broken in your home we can typically fix the unit on the same visit. All we need is a fairly accurate size of the broken unit, it’s location in the house (first floor or higher), and to confirm that it doesn’t need to be safety glass. We can typically quote you a very accurate price over the phone with the necessary information. Our technicians can usually cut the exact size of glass that’s needed for your repair once we arrive at the job site.
Tempered Glass
For applications requiring added strength, Tempered Glass is used. Tempered Glass is made by a special heat treatment and quenching process that increases its strength up to four or five times that of annealed glass. If subjected to stresses beyond its capacity, Tempered Glass simply disintegrates into innumerable small pieces, significantly reducing the risk of serious injury. Tempered glass is used anywhere glass is more prone to human contact such as doors, windows close to the floor, stair landings and tub/shower enclosures. Check you local building code for details or more specific locations. Your safety, and the safety of your family, guests, and visitors is the responsibility we take very seriously. |
